My OB wanted me to have a couple of cycles and then wanted to get right back to TTC. Not only do I have endometriosis and ovarian cysts, but I also have a uterine fibroid to deal with as well. My OB said surgery can be done, but it would also cause more adhesion's to form, and I've had a ton of trouble with those already. So, cycles 30 and 31 went by.
The OB decided that cycle 32 would be back on Clomid. He put us back on 100 mg and wanted to see how things looked. My temp chart was erratic and not a single + OPK.
Then, cycle 33.
It was a new year and I just KNEW it would be "The One." I had joined some new groups on babycenter.com and was learning a ton about fertility. I learned how to check cervical mucus and what each type meant as for fertility, how to monitor the position of the cervix and what each position meant, and I even learned about products designed to help. We did everything right this month. We did BBTs, was back on 150 mg of Clomid, used OPKs, used Pre-Seed (a lubricant that mimics fertile cervical mucus), used Instead Softcups (like a contact lens for the cervix, designed to help hold the swimmers near the cervix), and followed the baby making routine prescribed by the OB. I actually had + OPKs, but crazy enough, I had six of them in a row! What was that about??? And as I was in my two week wait (the two weeks between ovulation and pregnancy testing), I started my period 5 days early. :( Back to the tears. Will this ever happen for us????
