WARNING: Some may see this as TMI
So I worked 12 hours yesterday. About mid-day, I began having some slight cramping on the right side that also felt like it was in the right side of my back. When I went to the bathroom, I had some light brown streaks when I wiped. One of the girls I work with also works at an OB's office, so I went to her for advise. She said that since it is time for my period to be due, it's not uncommon to have some light spotting because hCG levels aren't yet high enough to make the body realize it's pregnant. She said that the hormones should stop an actual menstrual cycle, so if I were to see increased brown discharge or any bright red, I should call the OB on call this weekend. Well, when I got home and sat down for about an hour, the brown discharge had stopped and the cramping feeling had completely gone away.
I didn't sleep well last night. I woke at 12:30, and it was nearly 3 AM before I finally got back to sleep. I woke again at 5:30, which is when I did my BBT, and then laid there until 6 AM before just getting up. I used the FMU to do another HPT. I can't help it. I just wanted reassurance that the positive line was getting darker, and it was! This made me feel a little better. Then, while going to the bathroom yet again, I noticed a lot of brown discharge when I wiped. Not only that, but there was a tinge of pink on the TP as well. What is going on????? Am I already miscarrying, or is there another reason why I'm spotting?
I'm praying this stops and everything is fine. I'm trying to reassure myself that some bleeding in the first trimester isn't uncommon and doesn't mean I'm miscarrying. I'm just sitting here loosing my mind!

God, please don't let me loose this baby. Time for prayer...
I'm saying a prayer for you. You're right - tons of mommies have spotting/blood and have healthy pregnancies. Don't stress too much yet. I hope it's "nothing".
