Just got home, and my was it a long day! My 3 hour glucose screening is complete and I'm hoping and praying that the results are in tomorrow so I don't have to sit and wonder about it all weekend. My luck being what it is, I won't get them till next week.
My cervix is still thick and closed, but not as long. Dr B said he believes this is because Roy is acting like a cork and preventing these contractions I've been having from making many changes. Due to the frequency of the contractions I've been having, they plan to continue giving me the hydroxy-progesterone shots until 36 weeks. He said that at 36 weeks, I could have her from any time forward without problems. He also said we may be able to schedule the c-section soon. I'm beginning to have more reactions to the shot though, so he said we'll have to keep an eye on it.
Dr B is also very optimistic that he'll be able to evict Roy when he delivers Sydney. This makes me so very happy. I go back next Thursday for the shot again, as long as I don't have any more reactions (itching, puffiness at the shot site). Let's hope it was a one time thing :)
