26 Weeks and 3 Days...

I can't believe we've made it this far!  How exciting!!!!  We know now that if labor began and couldn't be stopped, baby girl would be able to survive.  We can't be more happy!

On a different note, I've been having a lot of contracitons and cramping lately.  Not only that, but ***TMI *** I've been leaking some fluid lately.  It's not a lot, but it's pretty continuous.  I actually smelled of it to see if it smelled like urine because I also have a lot of pressure and it could be causing my bladder to leak.  Interestingly though, it didn't smell of urine.  I can't really describe it.  It did occur to me though that with all of the water I'm drinking, my urine could be very dilute and not have a smell to it.

Dr B did an ultrasound and baby girl is doing great!  In fact, as you'll see in a picture below, as soon as the tech put the probe on my belly, baby girl threw her hand up to her head as if to say "Not another ultrasound mommy!"  LOL  They measured the fluid and said it was right where it should be.  Dr B also did an exam and tested the fluid present and it did not test positive for amniotic fluid.  He's convinced at this point that it's urine due to the weight of baby girl and Roy the fibroid.  I guess it's another thing I need to get used to and expect during this pregnancy.

Baby girl is 26 weeks and 3 days along according to our EDD (estimated due date) of January 17, 2012.  Ultrasound weighed her at 1 lb 13 oz, although they warn us that it can be off up to 1 lb in either direction.

Baby Girl 26 wks 3 days - See her hand???  LOL
As if she's saying "Not another ultrasound Mommy!"
She's also flexible.  Her foot is up beside her hand and her toes are flexed back.

Baby Girl is rubbing her eye - she must be tired.
