The Day of the Gender Scan...

Ugh!  I've been up all night with cramping and now indigestion too.  Geesh!  I can't catch a break!  LOL  I'm looking forward to my ultrasound today.  It's at 8:30 AM.  With any luck, we'll get to see if we're expecting a boy or a girl to arrive in January. 


12:00 Noon Update:  We had our gender scan this morning!!!!!  They have made their guess but did add that they can't be 100% because baby is so cramped in the uterus with the fibroid.  It's making it very difficult to see between those chunky little legs!!!!  They told us they'd definitely keep receipts for anything gender specific, just in case. 

Are we having a boy... or a girl????

You want to know what it is...don't you!  Well... we hate to do this to everyone, but we'll have to keep you in suspense for one more day.  Tomorrow is our daughter's 16th birthday, and she's asked us to keep it a surprise, even from her, until her birthday tomorrow.  We think it's only fair to accommodate her wishes  :)

Dr. B said today that my work situation "needs to be fixed."  He said that he doesn't want me on my feet for 12 hours anymore.  In fact, he said that I either need to be behind a desk or at home.  My husband and I went to see my manager at work, and surprisingly to me, he agreed to put me on desk duty!!!!  So I'll still get to work, make my paycheck, and continue earning my sick, holiday, and vacation time.  YAY!  I'll be working Monday - Thursday 7AM - 3 PM and Friday 7AM - 11AM.  I'm so very grateful that my manager is being so accommodating for us and our situation right now.
